For successful urban hunting. With a handy string net to boot Nah, you really don’t have to be a hunter. And instead of hunting game, any other prey may find its way into the string net, if a little more space is needed than you would expect in a compact shoulder bag.

The body of the bag is made of vegetable tanned leather, combined with a pouch made of strong canvas and a sturdy string net, all firmly sewn into one bag. Net and bag remain folded up small as long as they are not needed and can hold a whole lot when necessary. Quite a surprising detail for a distinctively urban shoulder bag, but long proven in hunting gear, for example in the traditional English game bags. That’s why we have adopted the name right away.

Two removable two-tone leather interior pockets are available as accessories. The inside pocket named Pouch is closed with a flap, so that small items can not fall out. It is also spacious enough for a regular cell phone.

The inside pocket named Organizer provides space for three pens – i.e., ballpoint pen, fountain pen, laser pointer or the like – and also large cell phones in phablet format. Both pockets are simply buttoned in with the help of sturdy metal buttons that we place inside the bag.

As always, we only make this bag to order. That means: When it comes to leather and shoulder strap, the choice is yours! Please order the shoulder strap separately, as well as one of the two inner pockets Pouch or Organizer, if you want to upgrade your bag with these practical accessories.

Important information about leather selection

For our bags, we use different leathers with quite different properties. All of these leathers are vegetable tanned, and they come mainly from German, sometimes from French tanneries that work to high standards.

We only use carefully tanned leather, sometimes we accentuate with colors, and otherwise only rely on different leather greases. The result: Our leathers age naturally and evenly, and they develop a patina that is unique for every piece – which, by the way, also depends on how you care for the leather. Leather greases, oils or other leather care products may contain different ingredients that can affect the color as well as the color intensity.

Please keep in mind: Each hide takes on the color or hue of the tanning agent in its own way, each dyeing process goes a little bit differently. And as to how your display or monitor shows the colors: we have no influence on that. Color deviations on your display and on the original piece are therefore normal and not a fault.

Cowhide Brown

Only moderately greased, but additionally dyed in a light brown, Cowhide Brown ensures that the color changes less over time. So the bag will remain closer to its new condition in terms of color – but, that said, only in terms of color. On other signs of use and aging, of course, the subtle coloring has no effect. Greasing during leather care will be just as noticeable as with other leathers.

Natural Strong Goatskin

The name says it all: This goatskin from a tannery located in Tuttlingen in southern Germany is soft to the touch, yet amazingly durable with a natural, unique grain. The skin is unusually thick for goatskin, but preserves the characteristic suppleness.

The medium brown color – which comes from the vegetable tanning agents – intensifies and darkens when the leather is greased or oiled during care. And as usual: Use and touch, light and moisture leave their mark and over time produce a beautiful patina.
