Distinct design. Small masterpieces of fine leather Various leathers and colors, carefully crafted details: This shoulder bag is a real eye-catcher. And the inner values are all right, too. The lining is made of smooth goatskin. Additional accents come from welting in contrasting colors and clear edges. On the inside there are two large compartments and a separate small pocket for the cell phone, the clasp is made of solid brass. Into the lining we have integrated a zipper pocket.
As with all our other items, we make this shoulder bag only to order in our Freiburg workshop. If you want a special color or leather combination, fell free to contact us and discuss the options! The leather we use for this bag is dyed through suede or nubuck in various attractive colors, contrasting welting and edge reinforcements set additional accents. And because everything is hand-crafted, we can also replace and repair everything if ever needed!
Please choose and order the shoulder strap separately with all our shoulder bags!
For our bags, we use different leathers with quite different properties. All of these leathers are vegetable tanned, and they come mainly from German, sometimes from French tanneries that work to high standards.
We only use carefully tanned leather, sometimes we accentuate with colors, and otherwise only rely on different leather greases. The result: Our leathers age naturally and evenly, and they develop a patina that is unique for every piece – which, by the way, also depends on how you care for the leather. Leather greases, oils or other leather care products may contain different ingredients that can affect the color as well as the color intensity.
Please keep in mind: Each hide takes on the color or hue of the tanning agent in its own way, each dyeing process goes a little bit differently. And as to how your display or monitor shows the colors: we have no influence on that. Color deviations on your display and on the original piece are therefore normal and not a fault.
Suede Goat Leather
We combine the velvety surface of our Suede Goat Leather with an intense coloring. This fine and light, yet durable leather has a very unique character. After dyeing with aniline dyes, even with the most careful treatment there will always remain a small amount of excess dye in the fibers; when the leather becomes damp, it may therefore stain a little. This can be almost completely prevented by treating the leather with a waterproof spray from time to time.
