Hand woven belts with leather applications

Traditional patterns: Hand woven belts Shure, there is a bit of leather, but the belt itself is hand-woven. Maybe you have seen similar patterns and colors in traditional costumes from the Baltic countries or Ukraine. This is no coincidence – it is precisely from these regions that we get our woven belts, for example from Lithuania, where for some years now traditional comb weaving has been experiencing a vivid revival.

We get the ribbons from small artisan manufacturers and in limited quantities. They are never exactly the same, the colors and patterns change, and the basic material is sheep’s wool. So the pictures we provide here are only examples. Please ask us which belts we currently have available in our workshop!

Of course, textile belts made of natural material like wool are not as durable as solid leather belts. However, we always use leather elements for the particularly stressed areas, so that you can enjoy the belt for a long time. The buckle made of solid metal is carefully sewn by hand. When it comes to leather and buckle, the choice is yours!
